Lindsay Lohan does morgue job, hits Hawaii

Lindsay Lohan does morgue job, hits Hawaii - Playboy magazine featuring nude Lindsay Lohan will be released early following second leak as carefree actress hits Hawaii. It was due to hit newsstands next Thursday - but will now be released early, tweets founder Hugh Hefner. The entire photo spread of Lindsay Lohan posing nude for Playboy has leaked online today - prompting the magazine's founder Hugh Hefner into releasing the magazine early.

Earlier in the week the cover, featuring the 25-year-old actress posing nude on a bunny shaped chair hit the net.

But now a further 10 snaps started doing the rounds.

Playboy has confirmed to MailOnline that 'someone took photos of Lindsay’s pictorial in an advanced copy of the January/February issue'.

It was not due to hit newstands for another week (December 15) and it was earlier reported how bosses feared the sales of what they hoped would be the biggest selling issue of the year could be severely hit, according to TMZ.com.

Now Hefner has come up with a solution, tweeting: 'Because of the interest & the Internet leak, we're releasing the Lindsay Lohan issue early.' He has not confirmed the new date of release yet.

Lohan - who was today pictured in Hawaii watching the Pipe Masters Surf Contest from the balcony of a private residence - was paid a reputed $1m to bare all in the Marilyn Monroe-inspired shoot.

The newly-leaked photos capture her in a series of provocative poses as the Mean Girls star channels the tragic screen siren.

Lindsay appears entirely naked, save for a pair of terracotta platform heels, in most of the inside shots.

The most clothing she wears is a black fur shrug in one frame as she kneels with a red cushion covering her lower half while raising her hands above her head.

The shoot is set against a sexy red backdrop; in some of the photos she lies on ruffled material - while in another she perches on what appears to be a lip-shaped couch.

Looking lasciviously into - and away from - the lens in the spread, Lohan is wearing lashings of red lipstick and has Marilyn's trademark beauty spot above her lip.

She wears and assortment of long and short blonde wigs, and completes her look with long fake lashes and heavy black make-up on her eyelids.

Props such as cushions are used to cover her lower half in many of the photographs, although in one she stands entirely naked - only slightly crossing her leg over.

Another frame shows her lying back seductively while holding her breasts with her hands.

One blog has published pages of the magazine and the accompanying interview.

Lohan tells the mag: 'Sex and sexuality are part of nature and I go along with nature. I think Marilyn Monroe said that, and I agree with her.

'Knowing your body and being in touch with your body is important because it gives you confidence, and in life, women need confidence.'

The actress had to pose for the magazine photographers twice, as the original attempt did not satisfy Playboy boss Hefner.

Speaking about the snaps, Hefner revealed the inspiration behind them.

He said: 'It's a classic tribute, inspired by the original Tom Kelley nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe. [It's] classy, very classy,' the New York Post reported.

'It turned out very well. I would say that I had some reservations early on, but after a couple of false steps, everybody came on board and it's going to be very exciting,' Hefner added.

At the time Lindsay posed for the photos, Dina Lohan, Lindsay's mother said the shoot was 'tastefully done'.

Speaking to The Insider's Christina McLarty she said: 'It was an opportunity for her and she's done thousands and thousands of covers, so this was just something...she's 25 now.

'It was just something that was her decision...we have a contractual say in how far it goes and her and Mr Hefner will decide.'

provacative drinking ad pulled
provacative drinking ad pulled - Pa. liquor board pulls ad on heavy drinking, rape. Provocative ad yanked after backlash. A campaign meant to warn young adults about the dangers of rape got the message all wrong, critics say. An ad meant to warn young adults about the links between heavy drinking and rape has been pulled by Pennsylvania's Liquor Control Board. Critics said it was another example of suggesting victims are to blame for rape.

The ad featured an image of a woman's legs on a bathroom floor with her underwear pulled down to her ankles, and the words: "She didn't want to do it, but she couldn't say no."

Stacey Witalec, a spokeswoman for the Liquor Control Board, said the online ad was part of a broader campaign that began a few months ago on the website ControlTonight.com. She said there was both criticism and support for the ad, but the board decided to pull it Wednesday evening.

Witalec said the campaign was trying to bring attention to a serious problem, not suggest rape victims are to blame.

"On an annual basis more than 97,000 people between the ages of 18 and 24 are the victims of alcohol-fueled sexual assaults," Witalec said, "and those statistics are staggering."

One expert defended the ad.

Jennifer Storm, Executive Director of the Victim/Witness Assistance Program in Harrisburg, noted that one sequence in the interactive ad stated very clearly that rape isn't the victim's fault.

"I feel strongly that we need to be having very frank conversations about prevention. Otherwise, all we're doing is intervening after the fact," Storm said.

"Alcohol is the number one drug used to facilitate rape. You lose your capacity to make sound decisions," Storm said, adding that "we need to empower people with every tool and piece of knowledge we have."

One blogger on the website Jezebel didn't agree.

"Rape is not just a bad thing that happens to someone after drinking too much," wrote Erin Gloria Ryan. "It's a deliberate act on the part of the rapist, a violation of another person committed solely because the rapist wanted to rape. The sooner we acknowledge this, the sooner we'll be rid of stupid, finger wagging ads like these."

Ryan also said that the portion of the ad reading "See what could happen when your friends drink too much" was "just shifting blame away from the rapist and onto the victim and, oddly, the victim's friends."

Several other ads in the campaign warning about the dangers of heavy drinking are still being used. Those subjects include excessive drinking and alcohol poisoning, drunk driving, and drunken arguments.

Rachel Crow: Stop blaming Scherzinger for my 'X Factor' elimination

Rachel Crow: Stop blaming Scherzinger for my 'X Factor' elimination, After her shocking elimination on Thursday's episode of The X Factor, a heartbroken Rachel Crow began to sob while the crowd booed judge Nicole Scherzinger, whose indecisiveness ultimately led to Crow's axing by viewer vote. "I am not feeling the greatest, but I will be fine," the 13-year-old singer told reporters after the show. "I have definitely felt way better than this."

Crow, who had been one of the show's frontrunners, said she ran into a tearful Scherzinger backstage after the results were announced.

"She told me that she was sorry," Crow said. "I don't know why she said that, but I saw her in her dressing room and ... I told her it was okay and not her fault."

She also issued a plea to her supporters who have voiced their disappointment in the form of boos, hateful messages on social media networks and comments on websites.

"I want to say to all those people, 'Stop, Please,' " Crow told PEOPLE. "[Scherzinger] is the nicest person and the most beautiful person inside and out. ... She is amazing, and I don't understand why people are taking it out on her. It's no one's fault. It's not even America's fault. It's no one person's fault. It's just what God had in store for me. And I will be okay."

Crow's support for Scherzinger also extended to her Twitter feed.

"Please don't be angry with @nicolesherzy she was put in such a tough position," she wrote late Thursday.

As for Simon Cowell, Crow said the best piece of advice she received from her mentor was "to be myself."

A humble Crow said she was fully supportive of the other finalists, especially Marcus Canty, the other half of Thursday's bottom two. "Marcus is an amazing person," she said. "When I met him, I knew that he had a spark. He definitely has the X factor."

Crow said Canty embraced her as she broke down after the results were announced, and told her he was expecting to be the one sent home.

"I was crying and he was trying to console me," she said. "I was like, 'Console me? You should be celebrating.' I told him to celebrate and be happy."

And while she said she'd still like to pursue a future in show business, Crow said she won't miss the pressure of being a contestant on The X Factor.

"I am honestly a little relieved that I am out," she admitted. "It's definitely a lot of pressure, and while I am very sad, I am fine."

Secret Santas pay strangers' bills

Secret Santas pay strangers' bills

Secret Santas pay strangers' bills, Secret Santas pay strangers’ layaway bills at Kmart, One recipient thanks her anonymous donor for ‘the gift of believing in people’. Christmas came early for three people in West Michigan when a stranger picked up the tab on some presents. It happened Monday night at the Big Kmart on the 4000 block of Plainfield Avenue in Plainfield Township. A woman, described only as "being in her 30s," walked up to the layaway desk, pushing a shopping cart full of toys she planned to donate.

"This lady came up randomly and said, 'Can I, you know, pay off some people's layaway?' " said Dannell Goddard. Goddard works at Kmart in the layaway department. She told 24 Hour News 8 that when she first heard the request, she was a bit confused.

"I was like, 'Well, are you trying to pick them up? 'Cause you can't pick them up if you don't have an ID,' " Goddard said. "And [the mystery woman] replied, 'Nope, I just want to help people.' "

The woman looked through several of the 800 or so layaway contract tickets at the store. She randomly picked and paid the bill on three of them. She paid about $500 between all three of them and left a $10 balance on each of the accounts.

The woman's only requirement was that there were toys in the layaway orders.

"It was really crazy the way she did it. She was so excited and so happy to do it," said Goddard. "She had a great heart, and I told her that I felt like she had a great heart, and she said she doesn't want to take appreciation for it. She just felt that she was blessed and she wanted to bless others."

One of the recipients of that kindness was Mary Chapin. She told 24 Hour News 8 the act of kindness "restored her faith in people."

Chapin had put about $200 worth of toys on layaway for her son, David, Monday afternoon. She said she hoped she'd be able to pay off the balance by the week before Christmas.

Then she got a call from Kmart that changed all that.

"They said that someone had paid $180 on my layaway and there was only $10 left," said Chapin. "I thought it was a joke."

Chapin wanted to say thank you, but the only clue to the woman's identity was a message on her receipt that read, "Happy Holiday from a friend."

"I thank her. It's the best gift that I ever received, and it's the gift of believing in people," said Chapin. "And believing that there's good out there, 'cause you don't always see that."

The entire layaway order was for 12-year-old David, who has autism. Chapin told 24 Hour News 8 she was so excited she gave her son one of those toys, a brand new LEGO set.

Chapin has her own name for her family's Secret Santa. She calls the woman "an angel" for her family. She said that angel gave her family a far bigger gift than the toys themselves.

"Even though we're all in the same boat, nobody's thinking about anyone else, it's every man for himself," said Chapin. To have somebody come along behind, and just do something that's totally unnecessary but so appreciated, it just really made a difference."

Postscript: The day after the story aired on 24 Hour News 8, another secret Santa went to the Plainfield Kmart and offered to pay off 13 more layaway bills — to the tune of about $2,000. It was the largest layaway payoff in the history of the store.

student library tantrum

student library tantrum

student library tantrum, Video: Student “freaks out” in library over others “breathing loudly”, Student's library tantrum stirs the Web. A video of a California college student losing her cool during finals week raises a sensitive issue. This video from the California State University, Northridge campus has ignited controversy across the Internet this morning. In the video, reportedly taken during finals week, a female student loses her temper with her fellow students, accusing them of being disruptive. (Be warned, there are a few choice words whispered during the rant):

The unnamed student hushes her schoolmates, telling them, "It's rude. It's disrespectful. OK? It's finals right now." When the other students laugh off her request, she becomes more agitated, saying, "What's wrong with you? What is wrong with all of you?" Then, despite her pleas for silence, she raises her own voice and slams a desk, shouting, "I'm not talking louder than you, am I? Am I talking like this? Can you please just stop talking?"

While many find the scene in the video entertaining, it's also sparked some controversy. As the LA Weekly points out, this is the latest in a series of incidents that have made Asian targets of ridicule for the way others perceive their behavior in university libraries. Of course, most casual YouTube viewers are likely just amused that the student in question lost her temper simply because her fellow students were "breathing loudly" in the library.

CSUN student Ashley Moore first posted the video to her Facebook account, but it has since been taken down.

No one seems to be taking credit for the actual filming of the video, including the anonymous user who later posted it to YouTube, claiming:

"This is not my video, i do not take credit for the recording of this video. watch and enjoy!"

Rick Perry Strong Controversy

Rick Perry Strong Controversy, Rick Perry’s ad moves the Web, Web goes wild over controversial Perry ad. The candidate's message on gays and Christmas spawns a flurry of spoofs and pointed jokes. Rick Perry's latest ad has divided his campaign and gone viral on the Web. The TV spot shows Rick Perry wearing a jacket that could have been swiped from the "Brokeback Mountain" set (as former "Star Trek" star and gay activist George Takei has pointed out), as the candidate criticizes Obama for reversing the ban on gays in the military.

In the commercial, titled "Strong," Perry says, "You know there's something wrong in this country when gays can serve openly in the military but our kids can't openly celebrate Christmas."

The spot has even divided top Perry staffers. Terry Fabrizio, a lead pollster for the Perry campaign branded it "nuts" in an email according to Sam Stein of the Huffington Post.

The campaign message has definitely sparked public debate, but perhaps not in the way that Perry hoped, serving as instant fodder for late-night comedy shows: Stephen Colbert mounted a mock defense of the spot on his show last night.

And a steady viral stream of video spoofs have been making the rounds. The website BuzzFeed has a remix of the ad, in which Perry delivers a message directly opposite of the original script. Buzz on the ad has also caused Yahoo! searches to surge in just one day on "rick perry anti-gay ad," "rick perry brokeback mountain" and "rick perry youtube."

Gay rights groups have circulated a petition asking that the ad on YouTube get the "dislike" button: So far, the video has tallied over 440,000 dislikes.
