Alec Baldwin on SNL
Once being kicked off an American Airlines flight last week for playing Words with Friends, Alec Baldwin appears on Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update" to apologize to ... himself. On the show, Alec Baldwin played the captain of the flight "Steve Rogers'', who said he regretted his decision.

Alec Baldwin, wearing a pilot's uniform and sporting a mustache and Southern tone of voice, appeared on the "Weekend Update" segment of the SNL to offer an official apology for the incident. The parody drew heavy laughs from the studio audience as Baldwin clearly referred to himself as a "national treasure'' and "a hero'' and "Weekend Update'' host Seth Myers, mocking self-consciousness, bend over and asked, "Alec, are you sure this is the right way to handle this?''
